Truthfully with this being my first time growing anything inside of a greenhouse I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Although I’ve had plenty of experience direct sewing outside or in raised beds, using a greenhouse would be a first. I tried to do research but most of my decisions of wanting a greenhouse started from seeing them on Pinterest, of course always in their most aesthetic forms, which I soon found out was not necessarily the most accurate depiction.
Starting this spring I planted seeds & already started imagining overflowing baskets of vegetables. As with growing anything it’s never that simple or that quick. Some plants flourished. Others struggled. A few surprised me completely, but overall it’s been quite a bountiful harvest and well worth the investment!

So far the top 2 vegetables I’ve grow in the green house are the Tomatoes & Cucumbers!
They are currently both double the usual size of my outdoor raised beds that are actually filled with the exact same soil!

Another pleasant surprise was that there seemed to be even more pollinators stopping by ! 🐝🦋
Overall This first growing season has reminded me that growth is rarely ever instant, but the reward is almost always well worth the wait!
